The Big Ten: Let’s Celebrate 2019

A New Year…

This is one year that I have long awaited since my breast cancer diagnosis on January 26, 2009. It’s a big one, it’s “THE BIG TEN” and I fully intend to celebrate and commemorate…

TEN YEARS CANCER FREE, ALL GLORY AND HONOR TO MY LORD AND SAVIOR JESUS CHRIST!

Goals….

The lessons God has taught me over the past ten years are ones that are meant to be shared. Many of them have been, but when you journal every day, as I do, there is plenty of content..lol! My goal this year is to blog from the journal excerpts on all kind of topics…. alongiside….drum roll please….

Finally, FINALLY (officially) beginning the manuscript for the book in my heart about my experiences with God through the cancer process! Because we all do better with accountability, I am putting it out here. Many of you have been encouraging me to do so for years and the timing has just not been right, until now. I feel it deep within me that this is the year (to begin atleast, trusting God for how long it takes with my long winded self..ha). I would love to have your prayers that this book will get into the hands of all that need to hear the hope of Jesus. I am tearing up just typing those words…THE HOPE OF JESUS.

One of my favorite quotes is “I am part of all that I have met.”-Alfred , Lord Tennyson. This is so true with  those in the cancer world that I have met in these ten years. Many new friends, some here and some now in heaven and forever in my heart. Cancer is not something I would have ever chosen but it is something I would never change because of how the process changed me and my relationship with God.

Celebrations…

There are many, many more ways I plan to celebrate “THE BIG TEN”, details coming soon! I can’t share it all in this one post…but be ready for LOTS of pink, lots of posts and most of all lots of reasons to celebrate our life in Jesus!

BY HIS WOUNDS I AM HEALED!!

My verse for 2019 is : “Training your body helps you in some ways, but serving God helps you in every way by bringing you blessings in this life and in the future life, too.”  1 Timothy 4:8

What about you? Have you thought about finding one verse you want to concentrate on this year? Do you have a dream  God has put in your heart  to do? We are all here for a purpose. Make  2019 the year that you  take those steps toward your God-given purpose!!!

Happy New Year!
